About the size of a deck of cards, this 1950's pink hand-painted vintage porcelain catchall features beautiful cupping hands and flowers. Can be used as air-plant holder, ashtray, or for any small items. Designed to stand upright or lay flat.

As stamped on the back, this piece was manufactured in Japan by Lefton China. Lefton was one of the first American businessmen to work with the Japanese after World War II. The first pieces of Lefton China with the "Made in Occupied Japan" mark reached the United States in 1946. Lefton China produced in Occupied Japan included a wide range of pieces, dating from 1946 to 1952. It's assumed that this piece was manufactured after the 1952 period.
